Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the provision of catering services by Lovett & Co (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to the client (“you” or “your”). By booking our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide catering services as agreed in writing, which may include food preparation, delivery, setup, and service staff (if applicable). Menus and service inclusions will be confirmed prior to the event.
You will receive a quote upon request and an invoice once confirmation of the quote. Regardless, you will receive an invoice which contains legal information for your and our reference.
All our staff are food safety trained. Our assigned Food Safety Supervisors are as follow;

Any complaints of the services provided must be directed to either FSS above.
2. Booking & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required upon booking unless you are deemed a “value customer” by Lovett & Co Administration.
The remaining balance must be paid on delivery or service of event.
3. Changes & Cancellations
Changes to menu, guest numbers, or service must be made at least 7 days before the event.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event will incur a fee of 50% of total cost.
4. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
We take reasonable care to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies however, we cannot guarantee that food is completely allergen-free.
It is your responsibility as the client to inform us of any dietary requirements and allergies. Failure to do so will and can result in very serious impacts to guests. If this information is not given to us, we will not take accountability for any fatal outcomes.
This information must be provided 7 days before the event.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate event details (location, time, guest numbers, etc).
Ensuring appropriate facilities are available (kitchen access, power, water).
Obtaining necessary permits if required.
6. Liability
We are not liable for:
Loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (extreme weather, etc).
Any allergic reactions or food-related illness where dietary information was not provided in advance.
7. Equipment & Property
Any equipment provided (serving trays, utensils, etc) remains our property and must be returned in good condition. Lost or damaged items may incur a replacement fee.
8. Payment Terms
Payments are accepted via bank transfer only. Late payments may attract a $5 fee each day the payment is late.
It is your responsibility to inform us if you can not pay the invoice by the due date.
You will start to be charged a late payment fee if your payment is not made the day after the set due date on your invoice.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
